Chicago Area Weather: Beautiful Weekend, Dangerous Swimming Conditions
Although the weekend temperatures will be very nice, there are dangerous swimming conditions expected along Lake Michigan.

CHICAGO, IL — Beautiful weather is expected through the weekend, including temperatures in the upper 70s on Saturday and the low 80s on Sunday. According to the National Weather Service in Chicago, there will be low humidity and breezy onshore winds Saturday, and light winds on Sunday.

Despite nice weather, there are dangerous swimming conditions on the shores of Lake Michigan expected through Saturday. According to the NWS, life threatening waves and currents are expected. If you are visiting southern Lake Michigan beaches through Saturday, you should stay out of the water.
