Cold Temps Return To Illinois After Glimpse Of Spring: Rain Ahead

Friday, Saturday and Sunday are all forecast to be rainy and the weekend will feature temps in the 40s.

Thunder is also likely across the area on Saturday, but severe weather is unlikely.

Sunday will also be cool with a high of 49 degrees. Rain is likely during the day Sunday, according to the NWS, and there is a chance of rain, snow and sleet on Sunday night. The inclement weather should settle down on Monday, which has a high of 43 degrees and should be dry and cloudy.
