Cold, Wintry Weather To Start The Work Week In Illinois

The first part of the week will feature cold temperatures, wintry mix, and possible snow.

The cold, wintry weather will stick around for a few more days. According to the National Weather Service, there is a chance for light snow on Monday and the high for the day will be 39 degrees. The warm-up in temperatures will start on Tuesday, which has a high of 52 degrees, and it should be mostly sunny.

Rain returns on Wednesday, according to the NWS, but it should be warmer with a high of 60 degrees. Thursday will again be slightly cooler, with a high of 50 but it should stay dry.

To end the week, Friday will be similar to Thursday, with a high of 54, and it will be partly cloudy.
