College Credits: Area Students Earn Dean's List Recognitions

Lillia Bartuch, of Lockport, was named to the fall 2021 Dean's List of the College of Arts and Sciences at Loyola University Chicago.

Southeast Announces Fall 2021 President's List

The following students have been named to the fall 2021 President's List at Southeast Missouri State University:

Sydney Provo of Bolingbrook, Nyk Shaw of Bolingbrook and Elizabeth Combs of Bolingbrook.

Students named to the list earned at least a 4.0 grade point average and completed at least 12 hours of standard graded credit in a semester.

Natalie McCastland of Lemont Awarded Degree from UA

Natalie McCastland of Lemont, has received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Alabama. UA awarded 2,362 degrees during its fall commencement ceremonies on Dec. 10-11, 2021.

Homer Glen Knox College Student Named to Fall 2021 Dean's List

Dwight Bejlovec of Homer Glen was among the high-achieving students named to the Knox College Dean's List for the 2021 Fall Term. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must have earned at least 2.5 credits in the term, with a grade point average of 3.6 or better (on a 4.0 scale).

Dean's List at Monmouth College

Makenna Finley of Romeoville made the Dean's List for the fall semester at Monmouth College. Students on the list achieved a grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale while taking at least three full academic credits.

Local Students Named to Elmhurst University's Fall 2021 Dean's List

Nearly 900 Elmhurst University students were named to the Fall 2021 Dean's List. The following local students made the list: Brett Stegmueller of Homer Glen, Juliana Desantis of Lemont, Beata Drozda of Lemont, David Kot of Lemont, Natalia Hernandez of Bolingbrook and Behraam Khattak of Bolingbrook.

The Dean's List is composed of students who during the term concerned, attained a grade-point average of 3.75 or higher (out of a possible 4.00).

Samford University Names Riley Boyette to Fall 2021 Dean's List

Riley Boyette of Romeoville was among the 1,826 students named to Samford University's 2021 fall semester Dean's List.

To qualify for the dean's list, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. Dean's List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.

Carthage College dean's list for fall 2021

More than 600 students have been named to the Carthage College dean's list for the fall 2021 semester.

Students include: Hannah DeFronzo from Lemont, Nicholas Kania of Lemont, Gabriela Koziel of Lemont, Evan Mutterer of Lemont, Matthew Johnson of Lockport, Gabriella Tanguay of Lockport, Abigail Trainor of Homer Glen, Elena Knebel of Lockport , Savita Chandarana from Lockport and Kiley Lamb from Bolingbrook.

Dean's list honors are accorded to Carthage students who achieve a minimum 3.5 grade-point average while carrying at least 14 credit hours during a semester.

Lemont Student Paige Connolly Named to Albion College Dean's List

Lemont student Paige Connolly was named on the Fall 2021 Albion College Dean's List.

Dean's List honors are given to students who achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in four graded courses.

Students graduate from UW-Whitewater

Anastasia Bandyak from Bolingbrook and Fred Dewald from Romeoville earned degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at winter commencement, held Dec. 18.

More than 762 students crossed the stage to receive their degrees at the ceremony, held at Kachel Fieldhouse in the Williams Center.

Bandyak graduated with the following degree: Business Administration - MBA
Dewald graduated with the following degree: Business Administration - DBA

The graduating class included 4 international students, 71 military veterans and 168 nontraditional students, defined as undergraduate students who are 25 years of age or older. In addition, 79 self-identified students with disabilities received degrees.

Students Make Dean's List at Miami University

Miami University students who are ranked in the top twenty percent of undergraduate students within each division for the fall semester 2021-22 have been named to the Dean's list recognizing academic excellence.

Students include: Daniel Cruz of Homer Glen, Caitlyn Gaffney of Homer Glen, Gina Krynski of Homer Glen, Abby Noonen of Lockport, Cecily Pryor of Lockport and Brianne Pirkins of Bolingbrook.

Students Named to Wheaton College Dean's List for Fall 2021 Semester

Wheaton College students named to the Dean's List include: Claire Busch of Bolingbrook, Caleb Maue of Homer Glen and Calista Chaidez of Lemont.

To earn Dean's List honors at Wheaton, an undergraduate student must carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher on the 4.0 scale.
