College Credits: Students Celebrate Graduation, Make Dean's List
Area students are doing amazing things at colleges and universities across the United States.

Salvatore Campagna, a graduate of Lemont High School, was part of the St. Francis football team which broke a school record with a collective 3.19 GPA in the fall. Campagna is majoring in accounting and has a 3.6 GPA as a sophomore.

Conor John McCarthy, a graduate of Lockport Township High School, was accepted to graduate school at Governor's State University, and will begin his Doctoral in Physical Therapy in fall 2022.

Suchorabski named to Upper Iowa University's Fall 2021 Dean's List
Joseph Suchorabski, a financial management major from Lockport, was named to Upper Iowa University's Dean's List for the Fall 2021 semester. To be honored, the undergraduate must have earned a minimum 3.50 GPA and be enrolled as a full-time student.
Wheaton College Students Named to Fall 2021 Dean's List
Local students who have earned Dean's List honors at Wheaton College include: Michael Cembala of Romeoville, Caleb Maue of Homer Glen, Calista Chaidez of Lemont, Claire Busch of Bolingbrook, Maria Schilder of Bolingbrook and Daniel Seul of Bolingbrook.
Dean's List honors are earned by undergraduate students who carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.
Belmont University Announces Fall 2021 Dean's List
The following students achieved the Dean's List at Belmont University for the Fall 2021 semester. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours (exclusive of audit and pass/fail courses this semester) and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C (inclusive of audit, pass/fail courses and zero-credit courses).
Students are: Alyssa Holland of Homer Glen, Olivia Miller of Homer Glen, Kayla Monis of Bolingbrook
Approximately 50 percent of Belmont's 7,076 undergraduate students qualified for the Fall 2021 Dean's List.
Jeremiah Lebron named to Campbellsville University's Dean's List Fall 2021
Jeremiah Lebron, from Bolingbrook, was named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2021 semester at Campbellsville University.
The academic honors' list recognizes students who achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or above for the semester with a course load of at least 12 hours. The Fall 2021 academic honors' list includes a total of 854 students, with 386 named to the President's List for achieving a 4.0 grade point average, and 468 named to the Dean's List for achieving a 3.5 to 3.99 GPA.
Sydney McGee named to Missouri State University's fall 2021 dean's list
Sydney McGee was named to the Dean's List at Missouri State University for Fall 2021. McGee was among more than 5,000 students named to the fall 2021 dean's list.
For undergraduate students, criteria include enrollment in at least 12 credit hours during the fall semester and at least a 3.50 GPA (on a 4.00 scale).
Paolo Mondini of Bolingbrook Named to Springfield College Dean's List
Springfield College has named Paolo Mondini from Bolingbrook to the dean's list for academic excellence for the 2021 fall semester. Mondini has a primary major of Sport Management.
The criteria for selection to the Dean's List are as follows: The student must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded coursework for the term, exclusive of "P" grades. The student must not have any incompletes or missing grades in the designated term. The student must have a minimum semester grade average of 3.500 for the term.

A total of 11,979 students enrolled during the fall 2021 term at The University of Alabama were named to the dean's list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president's list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's).

University of Iowa 2021 fall semester dean's list honorees announced
More than 6,900 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa were named to the dean's list for the 2021 fall semester. Dean's list status was earned by only 1,402 first year undergraduates during the 2021 fall semester at Iowa, only 1,427 second year students, only 1,836 third year students, and only 2,304 fourth year students.

Local students among 73 students to receive two degrees last month from the University of Iowa
Alexander Lafrenz of Bolingbrook and Gabriel Lammers of Homer Glen were among only 73 students to receive two degrees last month from the University of Iowa. All told, nearly 1,800 undergraduate, graduate and professional students were awarded their degrees at commencement ceremonies that marked the end of the 2021 fall semester.
Lafrenz earned two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from the Tippie College of Business. The programs of study were Finance and Accounting.
Lammers earned two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from the Tippie College of Business. The programs of study were Business Analytics and Information Systems, and Finance.
Nearly 1,800 students receive degrees after 2021 fall semester at the University of Iowa
The University of Iowa awarded almost 1,800 undergraduate, graduate and professional students degrees at the close of the 2021 fall semester. Ten percent of the undergraduates graduated with multiple degrees and, as a group, undergraduates accumulated a 3.16 grade point average during their stay at Iowa.

Lockport's Cristina Garcia named to University of Iowa president's list for 2021 fall semester
Cristina Garcia of Lockport was among the more than 800 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa named to the president's list for the 2021 fall semester.
Garcia is a Fourth Year student in Iowa's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and is majoring in Biology.
President's list status was earned by only two first year undergraduates during the 2021 fall semester at Iowa; only 135 second year students; only 250 third year students; and only 420 fourth year students.
Lemont Student Paige Connolly Named to Albion College Dean's List
Lemont student Paige Connolly was named on the Fall 2021 Albion College Dean's List.
Dean's List honors are given to students who achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in four graded courses.
