Consider Giving to the "Lemont Township Family Assistance Fund "
This fund helps provide assistance to residents who are experiencing a hardship or crisis situation.

Lemont Township has established a long history of providing assistance to those in our community who find themselves trying to cope with hardship situations, or struggling to survive living paycheck to paycheck.
It is our hope that you or your organization will consider contributing to the "Lemont Township Family Assistance Fund" which enables the Township to provide assistance at Thanksgiving and Christmas, to the residents who are in need this holiday season, and during times of crisis throughout the year. This fund was established in 2009, and continues to help residents by donations from the community, to help others in the community. It is an additional source of assistance when a person or family is experiencing a hardship situation. Many residents have suffered from a medical hardship, job loss, or unexpected expense, and have been very grateful for the extra help they were able to receive from this funding.
Monetary donations are appreciated. Also, our "Giving Tree" tags will soon be available at the Lemont Park District Core, located at 16028 127th Street. Please consider helping out a family in the community to provide gifts for their children this holiday season.
