Construction Begins On Cal Sag Channel Bridge In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — The Route 83/Route 171 Cal Sag Channel bridge repair project will start July 5, according to the village website. Drivers should expect delays, detours and road closures.

The village said north bound traffic crossing the Cal Sag Channel will be detoured, and northbound traffic should expect delayed travel times. Traffic on Archer Avenue southbound will also be delayed at the intersection of 107th Street and Route 83 due to the merger of detoured traffic.
