Construction Begins At Lemont Metra Station
Metra service will not be affected by the improvements at the Lemont Metra station depot and platform warming shelter.
LEMONT, IL — Construction at the Lemont Metra station depot and platform warming shelter will begin on Aug. 1. According to the village, repairs and improvements will necessitate the closure of the platform shelter during construction.
Service will remain unaffected, and the depot waiting area is open to commuter, the village said. Commuter parking will also not be affected during construction.
Construction is expected to last three months.
