Possible Snow, Rain Before A Chilly Week Begins: Chicago Weather

Temperatures will remain in the 50s this week, and frost is possible on Monday night and Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service. A cold front moving through the area will bring light rain to the Chicago area Sunday night, and some showers may be mixed with light snow across north-central Illinois, NWS said.

After the rain ends Sunday night, the rest of the week will be dry until Friday which has a slight chance of rain.

Monday has a high of 51 degrees, the NWS said. Frost is possible that night and Tuesday morning. Tuesday has a high of 55 degrees and will be breezy with gusts up to 30 mph.

Wednesday and Thursday will be much of the same, with a high of 54 on Wednesday and 60 on Thursday. Frost is once against possible on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, the NWS said.

Friday has a high of 59, but a slight chance of rain is possible.
