Cooler Temps, Rainy Start To The Week In IL

ILLINOIS — After several weeks, it seems the dry spell for the Chicago area has ended. Temperatures will also be cooler than the last several weeks, with highs in the 70s for most of the area.
According to the National Service, there will be a contrast in temperatures on both Tuesday and Wednesday, depending on where you live. Temps will range in the 60s for communities north of I-88 on both Tuesday and Wednesday, while temps will be in the low 80s for towns south of I-80.
After Wednesday, the weather service said temperatures will be in the 70s on Thursday and Friday.

Rain will also stick around the area, as there are chances of rain on Tuesday, Tuesday night, and Wednesday. There is also a slight chance of showers and storms on Friday night, the weather service said.
