Crest Hill Man Dies After Being Hit by Train in Lemont

Cook County medical examiner ruled the death an accident.

A Crest Hill man died early Saturday after being struck by a train in Lemont, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

Nicholas Cialoni, 23, was struck in the area of 1 Stephen Street at around 2:22 a.m., according to the Sun-Times.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office said Cialoni died of injuries from the train striking him, and listed alcohol intoxication as a secondary cause of death. The death was ruled an accident.

Cialoni, of the 21500 block of Eich Drive, was a native of Downers Grove, according to his obituary, and was attending Southern New Hampshire University.
