D113A Approves Tentative Levy Of $29.1 Million
The proposed property tax levy for 2019 is $29,105,000, a 9.21 percent increase from 2018.
LEMONT, IL — At the most recent meeting of the District 113A school board, the board approved several hirings and one retirement, as well as approved its tentative levy.
The board approved several hirings, including: Jonathan Williams, Old Quarry wrestling coach; Erica Lopez, Old Quarry head swim coach; and Nicole Glynn, reading tutor. The board also approved the retirement of River Valley fourth grade teacher Suzanne Meyer.
The board also approved the adoption of its tentative levy. It will adopt the final tax levy after a hearing at the Dec. 17 meeting. According to board documents, the proposed property tax levy for 2019 is $29,105,000.

In 2018, the tax levy was $26,651,207, so the proposed 2019 levy is a 9.21 percent increase.
