D113A District Office Employee Tests Positive For Coronavirus

LEMONT, IL — An employee who works in the district office for D113A has tested positive for the coronavirus, Superintendent Anthony McConnell told Patch. The employee received a positive test result over the weekend.
McConnell said all staff were notified, but an email was not sent to the community as no parents or students were in close contact with this employee.
The district office was closed on Monday for a deep clean, and the district notified and is working with the Cook County Health Department.

The health department advised anyone who was in close contact with the employee (within 6 feet for 15 minutes or more) 48 hours before the onset of symptoms should self-quarantine. McConnell said no one was in close contact with this employee.
"We've followed every direction, and we continue to work with the health department," McConnell said.
