D113A Partnership with the Lemont Public Library Kicks Off with Kindergarten

Oakwood School is pleased to announce their partnership with the Lemont Public Library. Bringing their talent and passion for storytelling to Oakwood School, Miss Mary and Miss Dawn kicked off the Kindergarten visit by reading Character Education and Monarch books. Each month, the school highlights a character trait among the students. For the month of October, the focus is responsibility. Students will also participate in both local and state-wide voting contests to determine their favorite Monarch book of the year.
