For the 13th year, Hope and Friendship Foundation will be attempting to put the necessities in every home, for a thanksgiving feast.

Saturday Nov 17th 10am-12pm @ Lemont Public Works Garage 16680 New Ave., Lemont
The Day the Turkeys Fly- Sat Nov 17th 10am-12noon- Turkey Give Away @ Lemont Public Works Garage (16680 New Ave, Lemont)- We will receive food donations for Thanksgiving Dinners (bags of potatoes; veggies; fruit; all non-cooked items to accompany a turkey for a Thanksgiving Dinner) from 9am-10am at the Public Works Garage; help sort donations beginning at 10am; then help deliver food to homes here in Lemont beginning at 11am. Food donations (that will keep in a car overnight) can be dropped off on Friday Nov 16th email terri@hopeandfriendshipfoundation.com to set up drop off arrangements.

Thank you to Richard’s Building Supplies for donating the turkeys that will start the gift of a Thanksgiving meal!!!
What to offer if you’d like to: bags of potatoes (white or red); rolls/butter; side dish necessities boxes/cans to be made (stuffing, canned sweet potatoes, etc. w/ recipe would be great too); canned or fresh veggies; Apple Juice; and of course... Desserts (of all types, shapes and tastes)!!! Drop off any donations to the Public Works Garage between 9-10am on Saturday Nov 17th , or donations that can keep a day to “Blue the H&F Trailblazer” in the drive at 721 Hickory St on Friday Nov 16th .
