District 113A Approves 2015 Budget
The addition of staff, textbook shifts, technology upgrades all included in budget.

Lemont-Bromberek District 113A board members Wednesday passed the budget for FY 2015, which details $26,663,196 in expenditures and $28,220,826 in revenue.
The district saw an 8 percent increase in expenditures, compared to unaudited numbers from 2014, along with a dip in revenue of .4 percent.
Expenditures detailed for the year included an additional 3.5 staff members, $425,000 toward capital improvements, $360,000 toward technology lease payments, $355,520 to curriculum and textbook updates, $125,000 to safety grant expenditures, and a$120,000 one-time expenditure toward professional development. The district also received $62,227 more than expected in state aid.

The district also met or exceeded its requirements for cash on hand ratio, expenditure to revenue ratio and fund balance to revenue ratio.
