District 113A to Hire Part-Time Assistant to Director of Operations
The staff member will work alongside Director of Operations Pat Crean.

Lemont-Bromberek District 113A board members Wednesday approved the creation of a part-time staff role to assist Director of Operations Pat Crean.
The person chosen for the role will provide administrative support to Crean, who was brought on in July to fill the vacancy left by Pam Mazurek.
The board had previously discussed splitting Crean’s duties into two roles, but decided instead to keep it as one. The candidate chosen for the part-time role will work alongside Crean, ideally assisting with the district’s transportation and planning needs.

“Getting our kids to and from school is critical,” said Superintendent Courtney Orzel. “Transportation is important to the district, as is the safety of our students.”
The role will not include benefits, Orzel stated. A job posting will be created and all possible candidates reviewed.
