District 113A Opening Blended Early Childhood Program

Lemont-Bromberek CSD 113A is pleased to announce the opening of a blended early childhood program at Oakwood School for residents of the district. We believe that inclusive education prepares all children for a future as global citizens. The Learning Friends Preschool, is a five-day-per-week, half-day program that was created to help all students develop together as learners. The program will focus on skills in the areas of communication, social-emotional, and motor skills, as well as pre-readiness in literacy and numeracy.

An Open House for parents/guardians interested in exploring the option of Learning Friends for their preschool child who will be three by September 1, will be held at Oakwood School on Monday, March 14 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Please contact Tina Szulc at Oakwood School (630-257-2286 ext. 1100) with any questions.
