District 113A: Sept. 23 Board Briefs

LEMONT, IL — Lemont District 113A shares board briefs on its website after every board meeting. For the Sept. 23 meeting, the board shared several items, some of which can be found below.

The board recognized Assistant Superintendent Daniela Fountain for earning her doctoral degrees. Superintendent Dr. Courtney Orzel also recognized board members Damon Ascolani, Kevin Collins, Bethany Martino and Dave Molitor for their achievements in the IASB master board member program.

The board also approved the hiring of:

• Kristen Kalas, River Valley paraprofessional; Richard Ramacciotti, bus driver; Claudia DeSantis, Old Quarry competition cheer coach; Claudia Longino, Jeff Heider and Brianna Olkiewicz for the Old Quarry, River Valley, and Oakwood Sign Language Club sponsors.
