District 113A Unveils $25.9 Million Budget
The Board of Education detailed a budget that accounts for increased expenditures and decreased revenues during its Wednesday meeting.
The District 113A Board of Education last week OKed a tentative $25.9 million budget for fiscal year 2015.
The budget accounts for $25.9 million in expenditures, and $28.1 million in revenue. Expenditures are expected to increase by 5.1 percent, while revenues dipped. Board President Cindy Kelly suggested using the surplus for projects awaiting completion, My Suburban Life reports.
A public hearing on the budget is scheduled for Sept. 17.
