Domestic Battery, DUI: Lemont Arrests

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

May 14

• Edmund Kalinski, 52, of the 300 block of Short Street, was arrested following an accident at Main and Lemont streets for driving while license suspended/revoked, driver's license expired more than one year, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Kalinski was issued a June 6 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

May 15

• Lester Bafia, 44, of the 0-100 block of Deer Lane, was arrested at 8:51 p.m. following an accident in the 12600 block of Thornberry Drive for aggravated DUI, driving while license suspended/revoked, operation of uninsured motor vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Bafia was issued a June 6 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
• Jill Burton, 47, of the 900 block of Warner Avenue, was arrested at 8:30 a.m. following an incident in the 900 block of Warner for domestic battery. Burton appeared at the Bridgeview Court House for a bond hearing.

May 18

• Daniel Moran-Segura, 30, of Lockport, was arrested following an incident in the 1100 block of State Street for unlawful video recording. He was issued a June 8 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
