Domestic Battery and DUI: Lemont Blotter

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Domestic Battery

• At 10 a.m. March 11, David Firnhaber, 30, of the 500 block of Main Street, was arrested in the 500 block of Main for domestic battery.

No Valid Driver's License

• At 1:30 p.m. March 13, Lauren Catron, 31, of the 100 block of Cass Street, was arrested following an accident at Warner and Peiffer for no valid driver's license.

Driving While License Suspended

• At 7:39 p.m. March 13, Mark Nails, 42, Lockport, was arrested for driving while license suspended/revoked and no registration plate light following a traffic stop in the 12200 block of Archer Avenue.
• At 6:53 p.m. March 14, Danny Ayyash, 37, Burbank, was arrested for driving while license suspended/revoked following a traffic stop at Illinois and Stephen streets.
• At 11:17 a.m. March 15, Thomas Barbera, 51, Barrington, was arrested for driving while license suspended/revoked following a traffic stop in the 17400 block of 127th Street.
• At 3:13 p.m. March 16, Sean Kammer, 24, Lockport, was arrested for driving while license suspended/revoked and wearing a headset receiver while driving following a traffic stop at 127th Street and I-355.
• At 7:30 a.m. March 17, Kelsey Surla, 23, Bolingbrook, was arrested for driving while license suspended, operation of uninsured motor vehicle and operation of vehicle while registration suspended following an accident at McCarthy Road and First Street.

Criminal Trespassing

• At 9:20 a.m. March 14, Thomas Pearson, 74, of the 200 block of Cass, was arrested for two counts of criminal trespassing to a residence, two counts of battery and telephone harassment following an incident in the 200 block of Cass.

Obstructing a Peace Officer

• At 8:09 p.m. March 16, Jonathan Amato, 30, of the 700 block of Ridge Road, was arrested for obstructing a peace officer following an incident in the 100 block of Stephen Street.

DUI

• At 7:02 p.m. March 17, Erikas Austinskas, 47, Homer Glen, was arrested for DUI, driving while license revoked, no insurance and illegal transportation of alcohol following a traffic stop at 127th and State streets.
