Domestic Battery, Speeding: Lemont Police Reports

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

May 25

• Grigorii Sandu, 45, of the 1100 block of Covington Drive, was arrested at 11:20 a.m. and charged with domestic battery and criminal damage to property following an incident in the 1100 block of Covington Drive. Sandu appeared at 26th and California for a bond hearing.

May 29

• Jonas Preisaitis, 28, of the 0-100 block of Evergreen Place, was arrested at 7:51 p.m. and charged with driving while license suspended/revoked and obstructed front windshield following a traffic stop at Lemont and Old Lemont roads. Preisaitis was issued a July 1 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

May 31

• Michael Miller, 29, of the 20W400 block of South Frontage Road, was arrested at 11:41 p.m. and charged with driving while license suspended/revoked, operation of uninsured motor vehicle and speeding 26-34 mph over the limit following a traffic stop at Lemont and Old Lemont roads. Miller was issued a July 3 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
