Driver Charged With DUI After Crash In Lemont: Cops
The driver charged with DUI rear-ended a vehicle causing a head-on collision between that car and another.
LEMONT, IL — A Darien man has been charged with DUI after a crash involving three cars in Lemont on Monday night. Jose Ovalle-Martinez, 33, was charged with DUI, driving while license suspended and other traffic violations.
The crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. Monday at 131st Street and Archer Avenue. Police said Ovalle-Martinez rear-ended a vehicle causing a head-on collision between that car and another.
One of the drivers involved in the head-on collision was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
