Dry, Sunny Week, Temps Rise Up To 70s: IL Week-Ahead Weather
The week will be dry and sunny, with temps rising up to the 70s.
ILLINOIS — A dry, sunny week is expected for the area. Temperatures will start in the upper 60s on Monday, and by the end of the week will rise into the 70s. The week will be dry, except for Friday, when storms are expected, according to the National Weather Service.
Monday will have a high of 69 and no rain is expected. Tuesday will be much of the same, with another high of 69 degrees expected, the NWS said.
Temperatures will start to rise slightly on Wednesday, which has a high of 72 degrees. Thursday will be the warmest day of the week with a high of 77, according to the NWS.

Friday, although it will be warmer with a high of 73, has a chance of storms. The NWS said there is an approaching low pressure system that will bring colder temps to the area by the weekend.
