Dry, Warm Start To the Week, Before Storms Return: IL Weather

Temps will be in the 80s all week, with the chance for storms returning on Thursday.

ILLINOIS — After a few days of rain and thunderstorms, the start of the work week looks sunny and dry. Temperatures in the 80s will continue all week, and the chance of storms doesn't return until Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday will have a high of 84 degrees and patchy fog is possible both Monday morning and late Monday night, and will also continue into Tuesday morning. Tuesday has a high of 85 degrees, and winds could gust up to 10 mph.

The NWS said Wednesday has a high of 86, and will be sunny. The chance for rain returns Thursday, which has a high of 84 degrees. There is also a chance of showers and storms on Friday, which has a high of 85 degrees.
