Dry Week Ahead, Temps Soar Again In Illinois

Dry weather and warmer temperatures will return to the area this week. According to the National Service, temps will be back in the 80s this week.

Monday will be mostly sunny, and has of 83 degrees. The NWS said Tuesday will also be sunny and slightly warmer, with a high of 86. The rest of the week will be much of the same, and Wednesday and Thursday will be clear and sunny. Wednesday has a high of 86, and Thursday will be 81 degrees.

There is a slight chance of rain on Friday, according to the NWS. Friday will also be cooler with a high of 79 degrees.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. North wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

MONDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear, with a low around 65. North northeast wind around 5 mph becoming west northwest after midnight.

TUESDAY: Sunny, with a high near 86. Northwest wind around 5 mph.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear, with a low around 66.

WEDNESDAY: Sunny, with a high near 86.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear, with a low around 66.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81.
