DUI and Domestic Battery: Lemont Blotter

Lemont Police reports, April 15-22.

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Resisting/Obstructing an Officer

  • At 8:08 a.m. April 18, Elijiah Capers, 18, Naperville, was arrested for resisting/obstructing an officer and obstructing identification following an incident in the 100 block of Main Street.

DUI

  • At 9:23 p.m. April 19, Jan Kalata, 43, Chicago, was arrested for DUI-alcohol and improper lane use, following an incident at Archer and Baileys Crossing Drive.
  • At 7:42 p.m April 21, Zachary Grunert, 27, Woodridge, was arrested for DUI-alcohol and improper lane use, following a traffic accident at 97th Street and Lemont Road.

Domestic Battery

  • At 9:10 p.m. April 19, Jakub Witkowski, 20, of the 800 block of Schultz, was arrested for domestic battery following an incident in the 800 block of Schultz.

No Commercial Driver's License

  • At 7:04 a.m. April 21, Francisco Dominguez-Morales, 33, Aurora, was arrested for no commercial driver's license and no valid safety test sticker, following a traffic stop in the 10900 block of Lemont Road.
  • At 7:49 a.m. April 21, Benjamin Morales, 45, Cicero, was arrested for no commercial driver's license issued and no valid safety test sticker, following a traffic stop at Derby Road and Archer Avenue.
  • At 7:56 a.m. April 22, John Desitter, 51, Downers Grove, was arrested for no commercial driver's license and no valid safety test sticker, following a traffic stop at Lemont Road and 97th Street.

Speeding

  • At 6:57 p.m. April 21, Jerry Joseph, 34, of the 0-100 block of Stephen Street, was arrested for speeding 21-25 mph over the limit and expired driver's license more than one year, following a traffic stop at 127th Street and Covington Drive.

Driving While License Suspended/Revoked

  • At 9:36 a.m. April 22, Carlos Alvarado, 20, Oak Lawn, was arrested for driving while license suspended/revoked and defective backup lights, following a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and McCarthy Road.

Retail Theft

  • At 3:17 p.m. April 22, William Nobles, 28, Lockport, was arrested for retail theft following an incident in the 13400 block of Archer Avenue.
