DUI, Retail Thefts: Lemont Arrests

Lemont Police reports through Nov. 15.

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Nov. 9

  • Breighton Orellana, 21, of Lockport, was arrested at 7:45 p.m. and charged with no driver's license (never issued) and operation of vehicle with expired registration following a traffic stop at Lockport Street and New Avenue. Orellana was issued a Dec. 4 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

  • Michael Bishop, 57, of Joliet, was arrested at 12:59 a.m. and charged with DUI-alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol, speeding 1-20 mph over the limit and improper lane use following a traffic stop in the 800 block of State Street. Bishop was issued a Dec. 4 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
  • Anthony Cantore, 22, of Bloomingdale, was arrested at 3:28 p.m. and charged with retail theft and resisting/obstructing a peace officer following an incident in the 13400 block of Archer Avenue. Cantore was taken to the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing.
  • A juvenile was issued a local ordinance citation for retail theft following an incident in the 13400 block of Archer Avenue. The juvenile will appear in the local court.

Nov. 15

  • Luis Hernandez-Rivera, 23, of Chicago, was arrested at 10:54 p.m. and charged with driving while license suspended/revoked and no rear registration light following a traffic stop at New Avenue and Timberline Drive. Hernandez - Rivera was issued a Jan. 17 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
