DUI and Speeding: Lemont Blotter

Lemont Police make arrests for suspended licenses and DUI.

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Driving While License Suspended or Revoked

  • At 1:30 a.m. April 1, Stephanie Gorenstein, 25, Crest Hill, was arrested for driving while license suspended and speeding 11-14 mph over the limit, following a traffic stop in the 700 block of State Street.
  • At 1:08 p.m. April 3, Joseph Bonfitto, 55, of the 12900 block of Klappa Drive, was arrested for driving while license suspended/revoked and operation of vehicle with expired registration, following a traffic stop at Rolling Meadows Drive and 127th Street.
  • At 7:01 a.m. April 4, Patrick Kerrigan, 46, of the 13200 block of Fox Hill Drive, was arrested for driving while license suspended, following a traffic stop at Illinois and Julia streets. Kerrigan was also arrested at 7:05 p.m. for driving while license suspended at State and Logan.

Violation of Order of Protection

  • At 11:21 a.m. April 2, Derek Trace, 32, of the 500 block of Singer, was arrested for violation of order of protection following an incident in the 800 block of Singer.

No Commercial Driver's License

  • At 12:09 p.m. April 4, Joshua Hassert, 32, of the 17800 block of West Bluff Road, was arrested for no commercial driver's license and operation of vehicle without safety certification, following a traffic stop at State Street and Archer Avenue.

DUI

  • At 12 a.m. April 4, Michael Fardig, 26, of the 13300 block of Maple Avenue, was arrested for DUI-alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and improper lane usage, following a traffic stop in the 12500 block of Derby Road.

Speeding

  • At 10:33 p.m. April 6, Keri Boyle, 21, Chicago, was arrested for speeding 26-34 mph over the limit, following a traffic stop at the Lemont Road overpass.

Expired Driver's License

  • At 8:50 a.m. April 7, Breanna Rodriguez, 36, Romeoville, was arrested for expired driver's license more than one year and defective headlights/taillights, following a traffic stop at Main Street and Archer Avenue.
