LEMONT, IL — The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest or charge is not an indication of guilt.

Dec. 18

Edgar Meza, 32, of Country Club Hills, was charged with aggravated DUI, DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol by driver, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and violation of the cannabis regulation and tax act at 2:54 p.m. in the 13400 block of Archer Ave. Meza was taken to the Cook County Jail for a bond hearing.

Dec. 19

Jennifer Dodd, 51, of Roselle, was charged with DUI, battery, improper lane use, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at 12:18 a.m. in the 14900 block of 127th Street. Dodd was issued a Feb. 15 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Dec. 21

Saleh Salawda, 37, of Bridgeview, was charged with criminal sexual assault after an Oct. 25 incident. Salawda was taken to the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing.

Jan. 3

John Karnavas, 39, of Lemont, was charged with domestic battery after a Jan. 2 incident. Karnavas was taken to the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing.
