DUIs, Illegal Transportation Of Alcohol: Lemont Blotter

LEMONT, IL — The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest or charge is not an indication of guilt.

Aug. 14

Luis Beltran-Diaz, 23, of Hickory Hills, was charged with DUI-alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane use at 3:51 a.m. after a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and Bell Road. Beltran-Diaz was issued a Sept. 1 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Aug. 15

Luis Gallardo-Garcia, 25, of Crest Hill, was charged with DUI-alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol and disobeying a traffic control signal at 3:16 a.m. following a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and State Street. Gallardo-Garcia was issued a Sept. 1 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Jeffrey Velarde, 28, of Lemont was charged with violation of order of protection and resisting/obstructing a peace officer at 7:30 p.m. in the 900 block of State Street. Velarde was taken to the Bridgeview Coruthouse for a bond hearing.
