DUIs, Speeding: Lemont Police Reports

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Feb. 1

  • Frank Roy, 35, of Homer Glen, was arrested at 3:23 a.m. and charged with DUI-alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle, speeding (21-24 mph over the limit) and improper lane use following a traffic stop in the 13500 block of Parker Road. Roy was issued a March 4 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

Feb. 5

  • A juvenile was issued a local ordinance citation for possession of cannabis following an incident at 9:23 a.m. in the 800 block of Porter Street. The juvenile will appear in local court.

Feb. 6

  • Sorin Bot, 27, of Des Moines, Washington, was arrested at 10:01 p.m. and charged with speeding (26-34 mph over the limit) following a traffic stop in the 17500 block of 127th Street. Bot was issued a Feb. 21 court date at the Will County Courthouse.
  • A juvenile was issued a local ordinance citation for possession of cannabis following an incident at 11:51 a.m. in the 800 block of Porter Street. The juvenile will appear in local court.

  • Gene Koniecko, 67, of Woodridge, was arrested at 8:11 p.m. and charged with DUI-alcohol and speeding 21-25 mph over the limit following a traffic stop at Lemont and Bluff roads. Koniecko was issued an April 20 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
