DUIs, Speeding, No License: Lemont Arrests

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

April 19

• Thomas Wyma, 49, was arrested at 1:11 p.m. following an accident in the 900 block of McCarthy for leaving the scene of a property damage accident and failure to notify damage to unattended vehicle. Wyma was issued a June 8 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

April 20

• Johnny Belcher, 34, of Lyons, was arrested at 6:59 p.m. at Archer and 135th Street following a traffic stop for driving while license suspended/revoked. Belcher was issued a May 18 court date at the Will County Court House.
• Alexis Boatright, 26, of Joliet, was arrested at 8:44 p.m. following a traffic stop at State and 127th streets for no valid driver's license (never issued), operation of uninsured motor vehicle and loud muffler. Boatright was issued a June 6 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
• Sylvia Kozielec, 20, of Homer Glen, was arrested at 9:42 p.m. following a traffic stop at Parker and Huntmaster Lane for speeding 26-34 mph over the limit. Kozielec was issued a June 6 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
• Ramiro Flores, 20, of Chicago, was arrested at 11:09 p.m. following a traffic stop at Archer and Parker Road for no valid driver's license (never issued) and improper lane use. Flores was issued a June 8 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

April 21

• Luis Avila, 32, of Chicago, was arrested at 6:44 a.m. following a traffic stop at Lemont and Bluff roads for driving while license suspended/revoked, no valid driver's license (never issued) and speeding. Avila was issued a June 8 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
• Jose Vargas, 38, of Chicago, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. following a traffic stop in the 14200 block of Main for DUI-alcohol, driving while license suspended/revoked and improper lane use. Vargas was issued a June 8 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
• Diane Meyer, 57, of Westmont, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. following a traffic stop in the 1000 block of State Street for DUI-alcohol, operation of uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane use and use of electronic communication device. Meyer was issued a June 8 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
• Mark Tolstych, 46, of the 13600 block of South Archer, was arrested at 6:45 p.m. following a traffic stop at Archer and 135th Street for driving while license suspended/revoked and operation of uninsured motor vehicle. Tolstych was issued a May 18 court date at the Will County Court House.

April 22

• Abisal Alquiciras, 37, of Joliet, was arrested at 6:52 a.m. following a traffic stop at 127th Street and Rolling Meadows Drive for driving while license suspended/revoked and no lights when required. Alquiciras was issued a June 15 court date at the Will County Court House.
• Katherine Bednarski, 52, of Chicago, was arrested at 1:03 a.m. following a traffic stop at 127th Street and Rolling Meadows Drive for DUI-alcohol, failure to dim headlights to oncoming traffic and improper lane use. Bednarski was issued a June 8 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

April 24

• Paris Foster, 41, of Chicago, was arrested at 11 p.m. following a traffic stop at McCarthy Road and Archer Avenue for aggravated DUI-alcohol, aggravated driving while license suspended/revoked, resisting/obstructing a peace officer, operation of uninsured motor vehicle and failure to signal. Foster was transported to the Bridgeview Court House for a bond hearing.
