Earth Day Clean-Up Held By Lemont Township

LEMONT, IL — Head out with the Lemont Township for an Earth Day clean-up this Saturday, April 21. The township will kick off this year's monthly clean-ups of the township sanctuary grounds. You can meet at the Community Center, 16300 Alba St., between 8:30 and 11 a.m. Wear appropriate clothing to cover your arms and legs.

The township said this is a way for community groups and students to earn service hours and also to help the environment.

Several other clean-up days are planned on: May 5, June 16, July 21, Aug. 18, Sept. 15 and Oct. 20.
