Easter Treat Hunt Planned At Central Bark Dog Park In Lemont

The spring event will be held on March 28, with separate times for small and large dogs.

LEMONT, IL — Lemont Township and Ruby Whiskers Animal Rescue will bring some spring fun to the Central Bark Dog Park on March 28 with an Easter Treat Hunt.

Check-in for dogs 30 pounds or under starts at 9:30 a.m., with the treat hunt from 10 to 11 a.m. For dogs, 31 pounds and over, check-in begins at 1:30 p.m., with the treat hunt from 2 to 3 p.m.

It is $15 per dog for registration, and there are 50 slots per time.

There will also be Easter bunny photos available from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. A $5 donation will get you a printed and digital copy.

The dog park is at 16300 Alba St., in Lemont.

Treat donations are also needed for the event. Donations of soft and chewy training treats, small biscuit treats or dog jerky treats can be dropped off at Lemont Township, 16300 Alba St.
