According to the Cook County Clerk's Office, a photo ID is not required for early voting, but it is helpful if there is a question about your voter registration and may speed up the process.
You can also register to vote at all early voting sites. If you need to register for the first time or file an address change, you can bring two forms of ID, one of which must show your current address.
