Elgin Man Charged with Sexual Abuse of Lemont Teen
The arrest pertained to incidents spanning from May through October. Bond set at $500,000.

An Elgin man was arrested Saturday on a charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a 15-year-old Lemont girl.
James Hinterlong, 27, of the 700 block of Deborah Ave in Elgin, was taken into custody in the 14700 block of National Park Drive (Lemont Herritage Quarries), for incidents that occurred between May 1 and Oct. 1.
Lemont police began investigating Hinterlong after encountering him during response to a call of a suspicious auto near the Quarries, said Lemont Police Sgt. Thad Mezyk.

Hinterlong was transported to the Cook County Jail at 26th St and California Avenue in Chicago where his bond was set at $500,000.
Additional charges are expected in this case as the investigation continues, police said Friday.
