'Enter If You Dare': Trailer Teases Frightening Time at 'Haunted Central'

'Haunted Central' is set for Oct. 24–25.

If you weren’t convinced, let River Valley Principal—and former Central School Principal Debbie Lynch—give you a sneak peek at the haunting happening this year at Central.

The school will be transformed into a haunted house, sponsored by District 113A, 113A Education Foundation, and Hope and Friendship Foundation.

  • Friday, Oct. 24 from 7 to 9 pm, $10 for adults and $5 for children
  • Saturday, Oct. 25 from 2 to 4 p.m. , $5 for adults and children
  • Saturday, Oct. 25, 7 to 10 p.m., $10 for adults and $5 for children

The event is coordinated by Dr. Courtney Orzel, Cindy Kelly, Michelle Nevin, Terri O’Neill-Borders, Pat Crean, and the haunted house is created by roughly 20 volunteers.


“The school board came up with this idea with two purposes in mind. We wanted to host an event that would attract the families of Lemont as well as allow us to raise money for some wonderful organizations,” said District 113A Board President Cindy Kelly.
