Ten students recognized for excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character.

Lemont, IL – Everest Academy proudly celebrated a milestone moment in the life of the school with the induction of ten students into its newly established chapter of the National Junior Honor Society.
The National Junior Honor Society recognizes middle school students who demonstrate excellence in the five pillars of scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character. These students have distinguished themselves not only through strong academic performance, but also through their commitment to serving others and living out the virtues that guide the Everest Academy community.
The induction ceremony marked the beginning of a tradition that will continue to recognize students who strive to grow intellectually, morally, and spiritually. Membership in NJHS is both an honor and a responsibility, calling students to lead by example and contribute positively to their school and community.

Everest Academy extends its sincere gratitude to Mr. Purpura, the NJHS advisor, and the members of the faculty council—Mrs. Wodka, Mrs. Kmetty, Mrs. Abramic, Mrs. Walsh, and Ms. Reznicek—who worked diligently to establish this chapter and thoughtfully review applications for this inaugural class. Their dedication helped bring this meaningful opportunity to Everest Academy students.
The newly inducted members represent the very best of the Everest Academy mission: forming young people of strong character, deep faith, and a commitment to service. As members of the National Junior Honor Society, these students will continue to grow as leaders while contributing to service initiatives that benefit both the school and the broader community.
