Everest Academy to Honor Bishop Ronald Hicks with Semper Altius Award
Recognizing a Champion of Faith and Education at Everest Academy's Upcoming Gala
Lemont, Illinois - October 2024 — Everest Academy, a premier PreK-8 Catholic school known for its academic excellence and commitment to faith formation, is honored to announce that the Most Reverend Ronald A. Hicks, Bishop of the Diocese of Joliet, has accepted the prestigious Semper Altius Award. This award is presented to individuals who exemplify the values of personal holiness, Christian leadership, and an unwavering dedication to education and service to others.
In recognition of Bishop Hicks’ extraordinary contributions, particularly his efforts to serve the poor and lead the faithful through education and pastoral care, Everest Academy will present him with the award at their annual Benefit Gala on April 26, 2025. Although Bishop Hicks will be unable to attend in person, he has graciously offered to participate via a video message to commemorate this special occasion with the Everest community.
