Everest Academy Student Wins Sen. John Curran Essay Contest

To celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, State Senator John F. Curran held the My Inspirational Teacher Essay Contest. Students were given the opportunity to showcase their teachers’ amazing talents by writing an essay that explains how their teachers have inspired them. Several students from Everest Academy of Lemont were given special recognition. Three student essays will be displayed in the Illinois State Capitol building. 8th Grade student, Chloe Tadros, was named a Winner of the contest, for writing about our PE teacher, Mrs. Amy Lepper.
