Extras Needed For Movie Filming In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — Extras are needed on Monday, Aug. 6 and Tuesday, Aug. 7 for a movie filming in Lemont. The movie, "As With Knives and Skin," needs teen and adults extras.

According to the Facebook page for the film, extras will not be paid and teens under 18 will need a signed parental consent form. The first scene on Monday will be a search party scene taking place in the woods.

Extras are needed from 3 to 7 p.m. on Monday. On Tuesday, the crew will be filming a football game from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. Three teenage/college-age girls are needed to play high school cheerleaders, according to the film. Three boys are also needed to play high school football players. 20 boys or girls are needed for high school band members, and lastly, extras are needed for the football stands.

The film is about three girls who form a bond after another girl's disappearance. According to the film's Facebook page, mysteries will emerge as the coming-of-age tale is told. Jennifer Reeder is the writer and director of the film.

Other filming locations include Beverly, Melrose Park, Morgan Park and Jefferson Park.
