Filing False Police Report, No License: Lemont Arrests

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

March 18

• Simka Petrovic, 34, of Joliet, was arrested at 2:04 p.m. and charged with no valid driver's license following an accident in the 12300 block of Archer Avenue. Petrovic was issued an April 16 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

March 20

• Giovanni Gonzalez, 22, of Blue Island, was arrested at 10:14 p.m. and charged with driving while license suspended/revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no rear registration plate light, loud muffler and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at Illinois and Lemont streets. Gonzalez was issued an April 18 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
