First Round of Playoffs for the Lemont High School Hockey Team

The Lemont High Schools Hockey team under the name The Spartans starts off the playoffs tonight against the Kankakee Irish at Oak Lawn Ice Arena 6:30pm.  The Spartans have played the Irish three times in the regular season winning the first game 4-3 and winning the other two games 2-1.  The Spartans finished the regular season in 2nd place while the Irish finishing in 7th the game should be very interesting.  Come out and see the game tonight at Oak Lawn Ice Arena and cheer on the Spartans as they take on the Kankakee Irish first round of the playoffs.

For the playoffs the first and second round will be played on neutral ice and will be single elimination.  For the finals it will be a best of three game series with the high ranked team having home ice game one and game three.
