First Sunset Soiree Held In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — The first sunset soiree of summer will be held on Thursday, June 13 in downtown Lemont. There will be five free concerts held this summer on Stephen Street. Seating opens at 6 p.m., and music is from 7 to 10 p.m., the park district said.

On Thursday, Mike Zabrin's Funktastic will perform.

The sunset soiree schedule is:

• June 27: Dick Diamond and the Dusters
• July 18: Split Decision Band
• July 25: Strung Out Band
• Aug. 1: The Walk Ins

During the concerts, there will be no parking in the event area on Stephen Street after 2:30 p.m. The Talcott lot will be open from the Talcott Street entrance but only for parking, not as a route around the event. The Talcott lot will be closed at the Stephen Street entrance with no access in or out. Canal Street will remain open.
