The event will feature participating locations in Lemont and Homer Glen, and will offer new and never-before-offered menu items and drinks.
LEMONT, IL — The Heritage Corridor Business Alliance has announced it will hold its first ever Test Kitchen Week. The business alliance, which represents Lemont and Homer Glen, will hold the "restaurant week reimagined" Jan. 14-Jan. 20, the alliance said.
The event will feature participating locations in Lemont and Homer Glen, and will offer new and never-before-offered menu items and drinks, the alliance said.
“There are amazing restaurants, bakeries, and more here in the Lemont and Homer Glen area,” Dan Mulka, Executive Director of the Heritage Corridor Business Alliance, said in a release. “And, after many months of being affected by the pandemic and staff shortages, we wanted to create an event that celebrates them.”

While traditional restaurant weeks usually offer special discounts or deals, the Test Kitchen Week asks restaurants to price menus appropriately.
The alliance said all restaurants, bakeries, bars and breweries who are members of the alliance are invited to participate at no charge.
