Food Pantries Gathering Donations After Thanksgiving
Volunteers will accept donations at the corner of Stephen and Canal streets from 1 to 5 p.m. on Nov. 23.

LEMONT, IL — The two open food pantries in Lemont are accepting donations of non-perishable food items on Friday, Nov. 23 after Thanksgiving. Volunteers will accept donations at the corner of Stephen and Canal streets from 1 to 5 p.m. to help replenish the United Methodist and Bethany food pantries.
According to a release, you can drive by and drop off whatever you want and volunteers will accept the donation from your car.
The event is supported by The Table, which is a worship gathering new to Lemont.
