The Forge: Lemont Quarries Celebrates Easter April 4

The Easter event will kick off at 9 a.m. on April 4 at the outdoor adventure park.


LEMONT, IL — Families are invited to celebrate Easter at The Forge: Lemont Quarries on April 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The outdoor adventure park shared in a news release that “The Forge Celebrates Easter in Wonderland” will feature Alice in Wonderland-inspired egg hunts, scavenger hunts, a petting zoo and themed photo opportunities.

Children ages 6 and younger can take part in the Egg Roll and Egg Hunt, a timed activity where participants race wooden eggs using spoons before searching the park for hidden eggs, The Forge: Lemont Quarries said. Participants who find six colorful eggs and one golden egg receive a prize and take home their decorated wooden egg.

For older kids, ages 7 to 14, the Mad Hatter Hunt offers a scavenger-style challenge where explorers search for matching egg pieces and solve riddles around the park to win a surprise reward.

Guests can also enjoy a petting zoo featuring more than 20 animals, including bunnies, goats and chickens, along with play time in the park’s Kids Adventure Zone and Kids Jump Zone, according to a news release.

The Easter Bunny and and Forge mascots Sawyer and Cindy Squirrel will also be at the park for photo opportunities.

Tickets are $20 per participant, with activities scheduled hourly starting at 9 a.m. A mini golf add-on is available for an additional fee ($10).
