The Forge: Lemont Quarries Celebrates Halloween

LEMONT, IL — The Forge: Lemont Quarries will celebrate Halloween the next two weekends at the outdoor adventure park.

The celebration will begin at 2 p.m. on Oct. 15, Oct. 16, Oct. 29 and Oct. 30. The events are for all ages and are $15 per person or included free with an explorer day pass at the park.

Costumes are encouraged; and the events will feature hayrides through the quarries every 30 minutes, ghost stories in the forest at 2:30 and 3:45 p.m., scavenger hunts, a costume contest and dance party at 5:30 p.m., and Halloween movie nights beginning at 6 p.m.

"Coco," will be shown at 6 p.m. on Oct. 15 and Oct. 16.

Disney's "Haunted Mansion," will begin at 6 p.m. on Oct. 29 and Oct. 30.
